Your footage, nothing invented
Every frame comes from clips you uploaded. Tealcut has no text-to-video and no synthetic people.
For teams of any size
Tealcut is a full video editor with an AI that runs it. It cuts, captions, mixes and color-grades what you filmed, then checks its own work. No generated video, no AI slop. What comes out is ready to post.
Early access is opening to a small group of teams first.
How it works
Tealcut is not a black box that hands back a file. The AI works on the same timeline you do, with the same tools.
Raw clips from phones and cameras. Tealcut finds the shots, transcribes the speech and notes what is in each take.
Describe the video, or paste a script. The AI plans it, then edits: cuts, captions, music, sound and color, in your brand's style.
Each change appears on the timeline as it happens. Change anything by hand, lock the parts the AI must not touch, and undo any AI change on its own.
Before you see a draft it renders it, reviews captions, framing and audio levels, and fixes what it finds. Then you review and export.
A full editor, not a toy
The AI has no special powers. It uses the same editing operations you have, which is why you can follow and correct it.

Trim, split, move, link video to audio, markers, and keyframes on position, scale and opacity with easing.
Delete words, remove ums and cut silences from the transcript and the video follows. Captions are word-timed, with presets.
Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, white balance, vibrance, your own .cube LUTs, auto-correct and match across clips.
Music synced to the beat, sound effects, automatic ducking under speech, and checks for loudness, peaks, clipping and intelligibility.
Presets for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, Facebook, YouTube and feed posts, a cover frame, SRT and VTT caption files, or audio only.
Runs in your browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. Your team opens the same project at once, and heavy rendering happens on our servers.
Built for teams
Tealcut is built for the people who film, the people who edit and the people who sign off.
Every change is saved. Name versions, branch to try an idea, merge it back, or undo a single AI run while keeping the work after it.
Ask the AI to propose instead of edit. It works on a separate branch and you accept or reject the differences.
Colors, fonts, logo, caption style, music taste, dos and don'ts for each brand. It also learns preferences from your feedback.
Admin, Manager, Editor, Uploader, Approver and Viewer per organization, with at least one Admin always kept. Agencies can keep a workspace per client.
A review page for approvers and clients (no account needed for clients), comments at a timecode, approve or request changes.
People on the ground send clips from their phone with a link, no account needed.
Export the timeline so a specialist can finish it in the desktop editor you already use.
Connect your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook pages and your ad accounts. Tealcut reads how each video did, organic and paid, and feeds it back so the AI learns what works for your audience and keeps getting better.
Who it's for
Events, repairs, specials and behind the counter, edited the same day without hiring an editor.
A separate brand style and team for each client, and version history for every round of feedback.
Keep the brand consistent across many contributors, with a record of who or what changed each cut.
Talking-head and travel footage cut, captioned and mixed, with the final say staying with you.
Questions
No. Tealcut only uses footage you or your team uploaded. The AI decides which parts to use, how to cut them together and what text, music and color to add, but it does not invent video, people or voices.
Yes. Tealcut is a full video editor: multi-track timeline with ripple, roll, slip and slide trims, keyframes and speed ramps, color correction with LUTs, a real audio mix with ducking and loudness control, word-by-word captions, text and graphics templates with animation, multiple formats from one edit, and exports for every platform. The difference is that an AI can do the editing for you, and you can take over at any point. What it does not do is heavy visual effects, CGI or generated footage. Make those in the tool you already use (After Effects, Blender, a motion graphics or generation app), upload the result, and Tealcut cuts it in like any other clip. You can also send a project to Premiere, Resolve or Final Cut to finish there.
Yes. Every video opens in the full editor. You and the AI work on the same timeline, you can lock clips or tracks the AI must not change, and you can undo any AI run.
Each AI edit is marked as AI-made on the timeline and recorded in the version history. You can ask it to propose changes on a branch first and accept only what you like.
Yes. Send the edit to Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro as a project file with your media, and keep working there. Cuts, timing, audio levels and markers carry over; a short report lists anything that does not, like color grades.
You do. Your footage and the videos made from it belong to you. See the terms for details.
From a licensed music library, so you can use it in your posts without worrying about takedowns. You can also choose to use your own tracks.
